The other day my girlfriend came over and she brought that movie The Rocker, starring Dwight from The Office. As soon as I saw it I realized that I was out of my favorite bass guitar strings. It’d been a while since I played my axe so I decided to write some new songs. I told my girlfriend that I wanted to pursue a musical career and she kind of told me that that wasn’t all that realistic. I told her that I didn’t need her raining down on my parade, so I decided to strum my guitar strings as loud as I could.

She got really mad at me and we had an argument, then she decided to leave and I ended up staying home all night and working on my music. I realize that if I’m going to go down this road that it would probably pretty lonely until I attained at least some modicum of success. But I guess this is what artists have to go through, so I decided to buy some new acoustic guitar strings so that I could be as versatile a musician as possible. I even decided to call up some of my old band members so that we could get our group back together.
